Message to Zach Duke: Walk Albert Pujols, every at-bat.

Surrender is noble. :D

Here goes Zach into his control abyss, but comes back and gets the DP.

As well as a sliding catch along the foul line. He actually looks like a major leaguer tonight.

F*cking Capps.

I'm not floored by any loss at all through years of following this club, but if they blow this one here, so help me ...

... and I guess I'll begin posting that every time Capps gets in trouble if it yields the same results.

Nice win, one I didn't know if I'd ever live to see ...

Waited until it was over, cuz I doubted all night. Was that the same team that we watched the last three weeks?

Great for Duke and Moss. Very nice game for both. You know, Moss may just make a player that we should have. We won't know if we send him down or lose him via Rule 5.

Maybe........

I know Jack Wilson didn't have a good night at the plate but it seems he supplys a spark for the team that we need. Almost like a glimmer of hope.

I would like to see a night like this help out Moss and maybe get his motor running.

From what I can see (obviusly having no intimate insight into his mental makeup), Capps seems to be the "needs pressure to thrive" type. In a lopsided win, guys like this don't play as well. If that's the reason he struggled tonight, I don't see it as a problem. But if it's an arm issue, then I'd be worried.

I know a lot of you will fluff this off, but they are a different club with Wilson on the field.

I sure don't fluff it off. Perfect example of an intangible. I can think of times in my life when I worked better with certain co-workers than with other.

Jack Wilson certainly makes a difference, if for no other reason than he sent Brian Bixler back to AAA.
