Uhhhhhhh .... you might want to read the first and last pages of this thread.

Az selected Owens, since he is from Az' neighborhood.

Hmmm. Maybe this could be one of those well-publicized custody battles. You will need a smart, talented and experienced lawyer ... I will give you No. 9's e-mail address.

Well i guess i will go way down there and adopt Dominican League 2B Eric Avila.
Or Dominican League SS Jodaneli Carvajal.
I'm leaving the door open here by putting two on the board just incase.
You know down in the Dominican you can get them cheap so i get 2

The only person i really like from this years draft is our 8th round pick Billy Cain. Did anybody realize in the 23rd round with took some guy named Jose Hernandez. Why would you do something like that. I don't ever want to hear that name again. I noticed this because he is one of the six players that has already signed.

Bucfan, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he is in Bradenton and hasn't begun any throwing. He's got a bum shoulder..

it's going to be awhile before we see him back in Altoona..too bad cause he was pitching really well.

No. 9 + family law = certain malpractice.
Won't go there; won't touch it. Ick.

Wasn't going to join in because I know nothing. But....... it came to me...........Drum roll please........................... I take Sano.

Don't know his first name, but I do know we haven't signed him yet and others may outbid us but what the heck.....

Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind and just go for it.

His full name is Miguel Angel Sano. I don't know if he uses the Angel or not though, but why would your adopted player be somebody that is going to be on the Cardinals

FYI, Sano pronounces his last name like Robinson Cano pronounces his: Sa-NO.

Gorkys had a good day yesterday. In a double header, he went 3 for 5 with a walk. He's been getting having multi-hit games ever since I selected him as "the guy". Neal Huntington owes me big.

Meanwhile, Jared Hughes has taken out a restraining order on Bucfan.

Might want to dial that back a bit. The Gorkster was up to his old tricks Friday night: 0 for 4. But he did throw a runner out at home.

And me: I chose Jarek Cunningham. That said, I won't be very busy keeping tabs on him this season: Cunningham is out for the year with an ACL tear. He'll be back in 2010.
