Ron Villone was called up by the Nationals yesterday. That makes 12 major league teams that he's played for over the course of his 14 year career. Any one know what the record for most teams played for by a single player is?

The first name that popped in my head was Mike Morgan...

He played with 12 teams in 22 seasons...so that would put him in a tie with Morgan

Todd Zeile played for 11 teams in 16 seasons...

Nice work. Lots of former Buccos on that list. But I guess that shouldn't be a surprise since there are a lot of former every team on the list!

After a quick scan, the most "impressive" appears to be Paul Bako with 10 teams in only 10 season. Also Bruce Chen (9 teams, 9 seasons), Dennys Reyes (10 teams, 12 seasons) and our old friend Jose Guillen (9 teams, 12 seasons). The latter two should be classified as "with a bullet" since they are both still active and are likely to rise higher.
