I'm organizing a trip to the 'burgh for 4 families during the Tigers series and I'm looking for hotels within easy walking distance. I have stayed at the Renaissance a few times, but that might be a little pricey for some in this group. I know there is a new hotel built in the last couple years but the name escapes me. Any help with the name of that one or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Last time I went, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on the southside of the point area. They had a shuttle that would take us across downtown to the area of the Ren and then we could walk across. Just a thought.

Spring Hill Suites is directly across from the park. Shouldn't be too expensive either.
