A four game losing streak book ended with Tyler Yates white flag performances will suck the life out of anyone.

Now the bottom of the 8th and Sanchez hits a sac fly. Well, maybe we can win even if the bullpen implodes.

Let's go Bucs!! Busy with life, so missed most of the past two games. Saw Duke throw his last 3 innings last night, just tuned in tonight. 8-4 good guys, 3 outs to go, until we are back above .500.

The Jason Kendall trade, if memory serves.

Capps line will be ugly, but I don't ever recall seeing so many cheap seeing eye singles in one inning. Whew!! 12-11.

Let's make it 13-11 tomorrow.

Freddy,Adam, and Nate did the hitting tonight.
Olhendorf looked pretty good, Capps didnot. He did throw strikes but they got 5 hits off our closer. ouch.

Hey Bucfan-- no save tonight was there. Capps came in with 4 run lead but we won by only 2. That doesn't give him a save does it?

Yay....we won! Let's see, that 8th run for the Bucs was all Morgan. Good job for Nyjer.

Let's see.....our Bullpen? :?

The Mad Capper needs some movement on his pitches.....I think that has been discussed before? If anyone can "straighten him out".....ha ha ha :) .......it's Joe Kerrigan.

Oh, not to worry.....be happy..... a win is a win is a win!

Go Bucs!

Great game to watch!
A great way to end this losing streak.
Our bullpen is still a concern because the people we would say are the most reliable middle relievers have been the most unreliable in the last 6-7 games.

Nyjer Morgan going from 1st to 3rd on that passed ball was the highlight of the game for me. It looked like the Reds could snag some of our momentum he stole it right back from them and guarenteed us this victory.

No save. The 3 ways to get a save are:

(1) Enter game with a lead that is not relinquished, pitch at least 3 innings, and finish the victory. Also, must not be the winning pitcher.

(2) Enter game with a lead of 3 runs or less and pitch at least 1 inning, without relinquishing lead. Again, must get the final out and not be the winning pitcher.

(3) Enter game with lead, not be the winning pitcher, record final out, where the tying run is at least on the on-deck circle.

Thanks for reposting the guidelines. Several people around me last night, including myself, made the mistake of saying Capps was working to get himself a save. I didn't realize you had to enter the game with a 1-3 run lead.
