Parra has an 8.25 ERA in 12 innings with 3 HR's, 10 BB's, 10 K's away from Miller Field...

Please someone send this memo to the Pirates Hitting Coach Don Long...

I guess we'll see how helpful "protecting" Bautista will be.

I'm trying to figure out what there is to protect in Batista. He's got to show something or sit. So here's his chance.

Paulie starts us off well with a K, but the 2 hitter (Weeks, maybe?) beats out an IF single (not Jose's fault).

Our old friend the DP comes through again. Worried that Fielder might leg it out!

Poor throw by Nate sets up 2nd and 3rd with no outs for the Brewers.

How was it a poor throw, it was close at 3rd, just a heads up aggressive play by Hart...

I agree with the announcers, if we get out of this inning with just 1 run to show as damage, I'll be happy. Ah crap, our old friend Kendal AB. There goes the chances of ending it with a DP.

Brain Fart by Freddy, and double clutch by Bautista cost us that double play

Don't remember Freddy ever making that strong a mental error before.

The play at third really shouldn't have been close. That was a case of a mixture of stupidity and brilliance paying off for Hart. No one was expecting him to head to third, so I guess that turns a stupid play into a smart one.

Also, that wasn't a mental mistake by Freddy, it was his arm injury getting to his head. He didn't want to throw across his body like that. I don't think he was running to the dugout, just trotting away from the bag to get out of the way.

Freddy! Get your head in the %$#^& game!

I'm just glad I'm listening so I didn't get to see it. A chance to get JK in his first DP of the season, instead cost a run. One thing's for sure, this better not end a 1-0 game. :x

Your man is a fine guy to have on the bench. While he looks like he has enough glove to back up at third, he hasn't got the arm or the range to play there every day, and he hasn't had enough bat to play there since about 2003.
