Indeed. All is lost. Roll out the tarp and cancel the rest of the season.

And, to add insult to injury, your CAPSLOCK key appears to be stuck!

Giving up already?

Yeah, it's a tough loss. Losing 1-0 with a HR by the Pitcher. That is hard. But, look at the positives. ANOTHER great start by Snell. I like this team. Yeah, they had a rough series. But all in all, I will take this team over others we have had.

Go Bucs!

38% of their starting offense is hurt including their two best hitters. This isn't surprising.

I think this could be a nice rivalry to watch this summer...The Pirates were pretty much in all the games until one big brain fart each game...

And to add all the extra stuff that happened the last two nights...

Well, you won't have to wait long for the next installment. The Brewers visit PNC Park next Monday and Tuesday. Braun might want to wear earplugs while out in left field.

I am counting on the locals giving him an earfull. I like this team too despite what happened in Milwaukee.

Getting swept sucks, but we were in these games. The Brewers obviously have more offense, but they are not that much better of a team. Sure wish we could have won at least one of these.

Gotta get 2 of 3 from the Reds, or the positive vibes might go swirling down the toilet.

I sat out in the left field bleachers for the first time this season. Second row. Trust me, the left fielder hears every word. I was there for one of the Atlanta games. Matt Diaz played left; he took it like a man and even gave some back. It was fun.

My thoughts exactly. Buccos played really well after Doumit got hurt, and for the first three games after McLouth came up lame. But losing your number 3 and 4 hitters, and your starting SS?

Wonder how the series would have turned out if the Buccos had their entire line-up and Brewers were without Braun, Fielder and Hardy.

I'm not sure we can beat these guys, thank goodness the Bucs are getting the heck out of town. At least they only play 13 more times this season...

I'm personally glad to see the first sweep of the season be over with in an "expected" manor ... don't get me wrong, I didn't expect them to lose the way they came in playing, but down three starters who contribute greatly (yes, this includes Wilson, don't forget Bixler's throwing error last night) in a park we always sh*t the bed. Was also glad to see a great game pitched by Snell today despite putting up the goose egg. They do need to rebound against a Reds team they can certainly beat though, hopefully they can get to Arroyo early in the first game. Basically everyone in the division is around the .500 mark right now besides the Cards, the 'Stros are even climbing the way they've been playing Cincy.

If we are saying that the Brewers suck, put my name down. They are just not my favorite bunch right now. Hope left field fans have a word or two for Braun. Cocky #$^%@

So are you saying 62% of the starting offense sucks?

No, he's saying that an offense at 62% capacity is likely to suck.

He is manifestly not saying that. "Sucks" appears to be the only pejorative word that you know. A limited vocabulary makes for a limited discussion.
Oh, there is also a mathematical point in that you confuse quantity with quality.
I am aware of many synonyms for "jerk".

Or maybe an offense with a starting 3rd basemen that cant hit for power and isnt a strong fielder. How can you have a 3rd basebmen with NO homeruns? This team would have been good if they didnt trade Bay and/or if they would have acquired some better players in the off season.

With no Ohlendorf or Karstens in the rotation, the great Jose Bautista at third, and the numbers 4 and 5 starters being Virgil Vasquez and somebody else.

Look up your information! Bay's trade didnt get ohlendorf or karstens it got craig hansen, andy laroche, bryan morris, and brandon moss. The team would be better with bay in left or right with nyjer in one of the left or right. Then they could have signed a 3rd basemen in the offseason.
