So basiclly every did bad except say a few relievers and jarimillo. Craig Monroe should be in the starting lineup!

Agreed. His problem was in finding the strike zone, but he is doing well so far.

* JJ is contributing. If that shot to RF, in what I believe was the 5th inning, is half a foot towards the line, it gets past Giles who appeared to have taken a bad route. Little LaRoche scores easily from first.

My thought as well. If the ball gets to the fence, Laroche scores. Then again, if Delwyn Young hits a fly ball, or with his speed even a slowly hit grounder, then Laroche scores.

Moss is just not hitting for power. He smoked a single in the top of the 11th, that would have been a double but for the fact that Gonzalez was guarding the line ... maybe his extra AB's yesterday will get him rolling.

I have a few thoughts as well...

Hinske is too fat to play the outfield.

Giles is not nearly the player he once was. He really misses his GO juice.

Jack should just stand at the plate like a statue, because he sure as hell can't see where the ball is going.

The umpire sucked bad. Very inconsistent and biased against the Pirates.

Both teams had the same problems - the pitchers couldn't hit their spots, and the hitters failed to capitalize on a lot of very hittable pitches.

Wish we could have found a way to win this one. Get 'em tonight!
