Bottom of the 7th Altoona 3, Akron 3.
Evan Meek is on the mound! He walked his first batter. Aaaargh!

Listen to the game here at http://www.sportsradio1350.com/main.html

Thanks, Ollie. I came home too late to catch the game, but linking the radio site was a very good idea.

I will definitely tune in to enjoy some minor league baseball in the future.

The Curve scored three in the first and got blanked after that.. lost 5-3! I lost track with what was going on once I saw Lester throwing his no-hitter on ESPN.

A benefit of the MLB.tv package. I tuned in to watch the ninth when the announcers on the game I was watching said that Lester had a no-hitter going into the 9th.

Lester was nasty in the 9th. After 120+ pitches, he fanned the last batter by throwing gas at 95, then 96. Dang.

Thanks indeed Ollie. I don't know why I have never thought to listen in on some minor league games (if available online, honestly), and will keep it in mind the next time I have the time and the Bucs are getting beat up pretty good early.

Right hander Jimmy Barthmaier on the mound tonight for the Curve. He's 2-2 5.35 ERA in eight starts. I'm gonna listen to a few innings while I take my shower (reception is decent on radio here.)

Shark, do you have any minor league baseball teams within fifty miles on the Queen City?
