What the bloody hell?!? How in your right mind can MLB put A-Rod on the All-Star ballot? He hasn't played one freaking game! This is mind-boggling.

With that, I beg you guys, when you vote, vote straight-Pirates. I do it every time. Let's see some Pirates crack the Top 5 this season.

At least MLB has now made it official that All-Star voting is a joke. I'm in favor of what the NFL does...one-third of the vote for the Pro-Bowl is determined by fans, one-third by the media, and one-third by players/coaches. At least I think that's how it is.

Are you serious? A-Rod is one of the most accomplished players in the game. I think it would be mind-boggling if they left him OFF the ballot.

The All-Star voting has been a joke for many years...and Selig made it more of a joke making the winning league get home field advantage in the World Series...

I have to disagree with you. ARod is an all star, regardless of whether he plays an inning this year or not.

In that case, I am voting for the following NL line-up:

C - Bench
1B - McCovey
2B - Mazeroski (hey, I love defense)
SS - Wagner
3B - Schmidt
LF - Aaron
CF - Mays
RF - Clemente

For the AL team, Ted Williams and Babe Ruth better be the leading vote-getters.

I got into my DeLorean earlier today and went 25 years into the future. A-Rod, who has been retired for about 20 years, was STILL on the ballot as an all-star. Why? Because he's a Yankee and will be a life long all-star.

Give me a freaking break. F Selig and F the Yankees

Its guys like this that give a strong argument to take the vote away from the so called FAN. I vote, and if a Pirate deserves consideration, i will duly note that.
I am sure those ballots are printed out way before the season begins, did you take that into consideration before your psycho rant?.
Vote for who ever you like, this is a free country.
In the big scheme your vote(or 25 of them) will make not 1 bit of difference, as the big city teams will have millions of mute's like you doing the same thing for their own players.
The game's in St louis right?, when the voting is done, check out how many cardinals are in the top 5 in voting for their respective positions.
I am sure Pujols will start, and Ludwick if he keeps it up.
K. Green, Ankiel, and Molina will be in the top 3 or 4 for their position, just watch and learn.
