Lousy news, lousy weather, No.9-- looks loke you picked the wrong day to be at the park.

Now include Karsters in that somber atmosphere and wow.

Maybe the game gets canceled tonight because of the weather and we can skip Karsten start :D .
I don't have a good feeling about tonight game. Just like i wrote in the Doumit topic, I can't have faith in Karsten and Anibal Sanchez has looked good so far with his 1.64 ERA.
I don't see this being a good night for the Buccos.

Rain rain maybe you should stay we can play another day!

Ugly first for Karstens but no runs scored. Took him 19 pitches.

Big LaRoche and little LaRoche both going again. So, who wants to bench them both now?

Walks Baker and he scores on Ramierez's double off the wall. WALK gets a run again.

Shouldn't mention it but Jay Bay rarely if ever dove after fly balls.

The walk is plain stupid by Karstens. You are cruising along and give up a run because you can't throw strikes.

30 strikes and 19 balls.

Not a great ratio.

A two out walk that results in a run really pisses me off. Buuuuut if we would have had the option before the game to give Fla only one run through 4, we would have jumped.

They don't score in the fourth 1,2,3- bingo. He's got us through 4, --- 2 more would be great and the bottom of their order next inning.

And he walks Maybin to lead off the 5th.

Not good. Not good.

Karsters lifted after six. 3-1 Pirates Three hits, none after the run scoring double in the third. Probably could have stayed in but I am glad he didn't. He did well and this should build his confidence.

If he pitches like that every outing, we will have a happy board.
