Who are going to be the six board members to carry out the Pirates 2009 season casket?

I have found the perfect song for the 2009 Pirates season.
Its How it ends by by DeVotchKa.
here is the link to youtube. Its just a still pictureshow with the song playing.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbZM6ZSlvvY

And the answer to it is under .500 :(
The question that still hasn't been answered is just how far.90-100+?

I don't know, maybe the Marlins come in and take a deep breath. Just maybe they anticipate waxing this Pirates team. Hopefully the Buccos show up the next three days and have some fun.

The fact that the Pirates are throwing their 4 and 5 starters in the first two games is not good news. Marlins are a good team, with power pitching throughout the staff, and are red hot.

I hold out hope that Maholm continues his quality work. And the simple fact is this: The Pirates are not going to win slugfests this year. When the other team starts lighting up the scoreboard, game over. And Florida's pitching is not going to be giving up a lot of runs.

So, the only chance for winning 2 of 3 is for Ohlendorf or Karstens to step up big time.

Indeed. I'll be thrilled if the Bucs scratch out a win in one of these first two games and can send Maholm to the mound to potentially win the series. But I'm thinking it's more likely that Maholm will be trying to prevent the sweep.

Florida's got a good team, but they have had 2 series vs. the Nationals.

A Nationals team that has such a weak bullpen that they just called up Kip Wells.

Still, FLA can very easily take 2 of 3 from us. I just hope Maholm prevents the sweep. But who knows, baseball is a funny game- we could end up sweeping them!

Adam Dunn could be traded for an entirely new pitching staff.

As well as Florida has been playing, the San Diego series is the one that bugs me, since it involves cross-country travel against a decent team. At least we'll have the 2-3 guys going in a pitcher's park.

I'm not so negative about the Florida series. We show up and we'll be ok. ME think we win at least two. Who out there thinks that Florida is good enough to play 900 ball or even better if the kill us?? Not me.

Remember who called this shot boys. (and beat me to death with a hatchet if I'm wrong.)

Six of their eleven wins were against Washington, fellas.

True. Plus their starting pitcher tonight has never posted an ERA under 5 and has carded a 6.43 thus far this season. Could be a STBHOF candidate...

They also played 3 games against Atlanta also, adding 3 more wins to that total...

They also are collectively hitting way over their heads, especially Cantu, Baker and Bonifacio.
