Not good news for him. It is his second time down that road. He had it back in 2001.
We made a good move, raise the jolly roger!

Damn, I was looking forward to watching him return to form this year.

Sounds about right. Maybe a bit better than that. I figured that he'd be manning the short half of a platoon by season's end, assuming that the Yanks could find a left handed bat to pair him with.

A CT scan on Friday showed Nady has bone damage in his right elbow elbow, while an MRI on Wednesday revealed ligament damage, the team's official web site reports. He'll have another set of tests on Saturday.

So its not looking good for him. His season is more than likely over but they are starting to talk career now. I hope that isn't the case.

I always liked Nady and wish him well. Hope he plays for many years to come.

This is some odd news and i think if it doesn't work out and he worsens the injury it could cost him his career.
Xaiver Nady is going to try to rebah his injury without surgery.

Update: Xaiver Nady will have platelet-rich plasma injected into his torn right elbow in hopes of speeding up his recovery, the Journal News reports.
The procedure involves injecting a concentration of plasma isolated from Nady's own blood which helps speed up the healing process. “It hurts because the needle they use is designed to go right into the ligament. It’s a painful procedure,” Nady said. “But it’ll be worth it if I can get back sooner.” Nady hopes to return in late May or early June as a designated hitter and work his way back into the outfield.
My best guess is that it sounds like a cortisone shot straight into the ligament but wouldn't that just make it so he doesn't feel it when it would be hurting him and he could be risking a career ending injury doing this?

That sux. I hope X man recovers. I wouldn't wish that on anybody, even Derek Bell. Well OK, maybe Bell, but definitely not Randy Marsh.........

No doubt. He was a good player for the Pirates, produced, and made the Hernandez/Perez deal a good one for the Buccos.

C'mon Bucfan. There aren't other parts of Marsh you'd rather jam a painful needle in more than his elbow?

Derek Bell is already a pro at using a needle and it isn't for steroid use.
