Let freddy go back to 3rd base, Andy LaRoche is 0 for the season right now, and it is crippling this team's lineup. I feel bad for Andy I do but enough is enough.

I dont think Freddy could throw the ball that far across the field anymore with his shoulder...

I'm not worried about 2nd base, I'm worried about someone being able to play SS, that only leaves Vazquez, if you send Cruz down...

Yeah, we should not have wasted the entire 15 PA's on him this year....

I feel your pain Doey, but it's still a little too early. He can't continue to "hit" like this much longer without making a change, but it hasn't been a long enough stint yet. Give it a little more patience!

At least we now know Adam's slow starts aren't his fault. It is hereditary.

The Nuttings need to make a huge donation to this group.

The Bucs had a guy a few years back.

They traded for him to improve a position that had long been a thorn in their side. They thought the guy could be successful for them for a long time. 23 years old. Bright future. He had good minor league career. Was thought to be a good fielder. It was thought he could be a productive major league hitter. He had a couple stints in the majors and really did not do much before being traded to the Bucs.

He was given the starting job, based on "potential" and need more than anything else, and he promptly stunk up the joint. Made a lot of errors. Had one hit in his first 19 at bats, before being sent back to the minors. While in the minors, he hit .285 with 10 HR in half a season there, and work on his fielding.

He returned to Pittsburgh and was one of the top SS in the league for the Bucs for the next 7 years, winninng gold gloves, playing in All Star game, and being among the top vote getters for MVP.

Perhaps some of you have heard of Jay Bell?

I leave the board for a few months and this happened?

Doey, do you understand that Freddy probably couldn't throw the ball from short to first with any zip, much less from third?
