If we hit 6 games under .500 by the end of May i am going to attend the next game and take a shovel with me to express that we are now 6 deep, and on the shovel it will say R.I.P. 2009 Pirates hopes :(

I think it will start a new trend. Brooms are so yesterday we get shoveled.

it is .500 and that's better than we have been since the 1st Bush administration (that's scary). I try to keep it positive and not worry about what happens when Maholm loses because it could start a run. Am I wrong, or was Ohlendorf OK after the 3rd inning?

In full disclosure I was watching the Pens more closely tonight and listening to the game on MLB. I may watch the game on DVR but I'm not sure for obvious reasons.
