Seriously, mods, can you please install an ignore feature to the new board?

The board has that feature and numerous people - me included - use it for a certain individual whose only apparent purpose on this site is to be a complete and total ass.

To implement the ignore feature, click the "user control panel" link on the upper right of the home page.

The left side of that page is titled "Options." Under that caption are a number of features, including one titled "friends and foes."

Click on that link. It will then have two choices - "manage friends" and "manage foes." For your purposes, click on "manage foes."

In the box entitled "Your foes," put in the name "Sisyphus." His posts then simply disappear. It is a beautiful feature.

And the cowardly liar roars again.

Yes, Tarheel, feel free to put me on ignore if it makes you happier, but do me the courtesy of refraining from sniping at me from behind your wall like a coward.

Count me as someone who is not a fan of the ignore feature. There hasn't been any real baiters here who just insult people. We disagree about baseball, it happens. But I feel like there is usually a fair amount of respect on this board. By ignoring people you run the risk of really missing something interesting and insightful that they post? And how hard is it to just skip the rest of the post if it is something that bothers you?

Why is Capps throwing anything near the plate to Soriano on an 0-2 count? The guy will swing at anything when he is behind 0-2. Bad, bad pitch at that point.

My feelings exactly.

Great win by the Bucs!

(1) Not much of a risk, really.

(2) The ignore feature performs very well. The feature simply removes posts by the ignored person. The rest of the thread reads the same.

Finally beat the Cubs. Another come from behind win too. And Nate McClutch...well, I am going to vote right now for him as an All-Star

Thanks for a great game thread...I spent the day driving from Pittsburgh to Toronto, and it was nice to get online and read what happened, along with the box score. And with all the fighting, I really felt like I was in the bleachers at Wrigley. In fact, I poured a beer on my own head just for effect.

Sure was a fun game to watch. Real team effort. That is why we all stay fans.

BTW Iowa State you are 100% correct about McClutch.
Now, how long before someone starts the 'he's using HGH' bullsh.. ?

I think us throwing out Soto at the plate is going to change the momentum of this game, great block of the plate by Paulino.

Now, hold on a minute here: Paulino blocked the plate AND caught the throw from the outfield AND tagged a runner out?

RONNIE Paulino?

Huh. Will wonders never cease!

Does baseball test for HGH? I don't think so. They need to start, ASAP, to prevent doubts about player performance.

But there is one sure sign that a player may be using HGH: He tends to have hat size issues.

No indication that Nate suffers from this malady.
