I'll take it! But we have yet to survive our bullpen.

The 4th different lineup for both teams today...

This is getting interesting especially with Russell saying he wanted to use the bench more this year...

LaRussa in my opinion is thinking too much, let Pujols, Ludwick, Ankiel, and Duncan swing away...

And what's the strategy behind batting the pitcher 8th some games and 9th others? How does LaRussa decide to switch between the two strategies?

Ohlendorf has obviously thrown a ton more pitches than Carpenter but give credit where it's due. He has pitched a very good game ... how I wish he could go 9.

He listens to the voices inside his head.

False. Thus far, Carpenter has thrown 92/61 (pitches/strikes) through 7 innings, Ohlendorf: 83/52 through 6. If Ohlendorf continues to be efficient here in the 7th, he could go 8 and then hand directly to Capps.

He gave up a single to Ludwick to start the inning, I'd be getting Grabow and Yates and Capps up and ready...

Bunt single by Greene, 1st and 2nd no outs...Ohlendorf might be running out of gas...

Our defense stinks. DP ball under Freddy's glove. Ross deserved better.

They ruled it a single. Wehner seems to sound like it should have been E4. Thoughts? I'm listening on radio.

Kind of a close call. It was hit in the gap, Freddy dove but it skipped under his glove. He probably should have had it, but it wasn't a routine ground ball or anything.
