I know I'm bordering on distaste but here is a picture of the female that was killed in the wreck. My goodness...

You might be bordering it but i am going to cross that line.

This is for the big GM in the sky...
We will trade you Jocelyn Wildenstein, Courtney Love, Donatella Versace, Amy Winehouse, Kelly Osbourne, and even Rosie O'Donnell just to have her back!

I don't think he can pass that up. Getting rid of those 6 will make this world alot better looking.

C'mon, Colin. You know package deals never work. But I'd trade Oprah, straight up.

Rumors are spreading that the other driver was a repeat DUI offender ... nothing official yet.

If true, he will be facing life in prison for killing 3 people.

Don't be so sure. The DUI laws are way too lenient. If they would not just give them a slap on the wrist for prior DUIs and do whatever it takes to keep them off the road, this happens again and again and again.

Just like all the prior crap the kid had going on that killed the three Pittsburgh Police officers.

The Orange County DA charged him with three counts of vehicular homicide. If convicted, the judge will decide if the defendant serves the terms concurrently (all at the same time) or consecutively (one after the other).

If the judge ever hopes to win re-election, he will have the defendant serve them consecutively. The time for vehicular homicide is up to 15 years per count. Three times that, plus penalty for fleeing the scene of an injury-causing accident, and the guy is looking at nearly 50 years in jail.

He would earn approximately 16.5 years of time off for good behavior, so he could be out in 33 1/2 years. I guess that is not life, but it is no slap on the wrist.

Yeah, vehicular homicide is a bit different from a DUI charge.

By the way, I've always found it amazing that most states have elections for judges, as if the people of the state know anything about the judge. Judges are appointed in Jersey, but I can only imagine having to stand in a voting booth, looking at the ballot and saying to myself, "The only one I know is Wapner and he's never on here. Why am I allowed to do this?"

Wapner's son was a Municipal Court judge in Los Angeles. I appeared before him a couple of times ...

GOOD! But I still do not have a lot of faith in the court system. Hopefully, the jury will find the way
