Sounds like Snell should throw some high heat, and Doumit just a little too slow getting the glove up. Sorry 'bout that, blue.

Why not put Hinske at third base and play Monroe in right field, then bat Monroe sixth and Hinske seventh?

Because Andy LaRoche has the potential to be a decent third baseman, while Monroe is a washed up stiff who is only on the team because they have no other right handed outfield bats available.

Pearce isn't available?

I think that it is the manager's job to make sure that his team is not treated like second class citizens.

Holy shit, Laroche just mangled a pop-up. Jeez ....

Okay, Andy LaRoche has three errors in two games. That to me equals head up his ass.

Andy's glove must match Adam's bat in April...Neil Walker might want to make sure his mitt is oiled and ready to go

Pearce still has a chance to realize that he needs to take a pitch now and then, so I'd rather see him in AAA playing every day than up here as the short half of a platoon.

Here is a list of every day third basemen who never made three errors in two games.

Is this a joke are they going to let snell give up runs all night? 8-1 the pirates dont even care about winning or losing I guess just want to save runs. Its useless taking him out now that the odds of comming back are astronomical

Well gentlemen, yesterday's heroic comeback notwithstanding, I would say a 8-1 deficit means its time to turn off the game. Gonna watch the Pens finish clinching their playoff berth. G'night.

He blows. But i still think if he gets it together he could be good. He did strike out all 3 batters he faced, but he also walked 3 and gave up a lead off homer.

Morgan won't get credited with a hit because it went as an error on Schumaker. So it doesn't look like Schumaker is doing so good at 2nd.
