I want to throw a name out there. What about Jon Jay? Always a solid hitter and fielder that I remember. Would make a good third or even fourth outfielder. Not sure money-wise what he would want, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in black and gold.

I am very, very much in the Jordan Luplow camp. Competent defender, decent arm, very low K rate in the minors (17%), extremely good BB rate (12.1%), hit 26 HR's in 3 stops last season in less than 500 at-bats, career .834 minor league OPS, OPS of .907 in AA and AAA last year.

Luplow the majority of the at-bats, Nava now-and-then, but mainly a PH'er.

I like him, too, but I think he should still start the season at AAA and get some more ABs there. I feel better about his chances of contributing long-term than Meadows.

I hope not. The team does not have a better 3rd outfielder than Luplow. I get that he has just 180 plate appearances in AAA. I do, I get that. But he hit very well in AAA, after dominating at AA.

But, that is "Not going all in".
