Why not? I remember sitting in some snow flurries last year at PNC Park. Baseball players need to not be so wimpy when it comes to the weather.

I'm listening to the Mets-Reds game in Cincy, very similar conditions. Game on!

It's always such a downer when the opener gets cancelled. Let's hope that doesn't happen...

Is it just me, or does it seem that winter encroaches into spring more than it used to, and that summer bleeds into fall also? It's like we need to adjust the calendar a couple weeks or something. We are expecting 6 to 8 inches of snow here in Crawford County tonight.

The issue is with the wind. A temperature of 51 degrees is not bad but the wind really makes it uncomfortable.

Were it not for said wind, methinks Jack's bases clearing double was a routine flyout. In fact, I believe just before his AB someone commented that the wind was blowing sharply to left center.

Uncomfortable?

I would hate for the guys making $100,000 a game to be "uncomfortable". :D

On his blog, DK refers to the weather in St. Louis right now as "beautiful" and feeling much more like baseball weather.

Yeah it should be a much better day for baseball. It is 52 degrees there right now with 12mph wind and Around 8 when the game starts it will be about 46 degrees there with 8mph wind and by the end of the game it will be about 38 degrees with 3mph. With the wind moving from west to southwest through the game.
