The best time to go is the week that position players report. Be at Pirate city by 8:45 and watch the daily 2 hour practice. Its free.

Me too, when tickets were reasonably priced. I refuse to pay 30 bucks to see #88 play second base...friend of mine has a built in rule that when the combined numbers of the infielders totals more than 200, it is time to leave... 8-) 8-) 8-)

$30 for a pre-season game?

Sure you can sit in a suite for 30 bucks. or you can sit in a box behind first base for 18 dollars. If you buy the cheapest ticket and just wonder around you can get in for 7 dollars

Any team that charges more than $10 per ticket for Spring Training is committing robbery. That's ridiculous to charge so much money for such an inferior product.
