Look, whether any of these guys turn out to be all-stars, who knows. But it's not like we traded Cole for a few bags of balls either.

And to me, a lot of this falls back to the Kang situation. Who knows what we would have been able to get if we weren't forced into finding a 3B - or if we would have even felt compelled to move Cole at all (or Cutch, for that matter) Sure, that should have been handled last spring, and it wasn't. But here we are.

If Kang hit .300/.400/.500 last year and they're probably only a couple games better. Their pitching was not good enough to be anywhere near competitive over a full season.
