Gerrit Cole with 6 scoreless thus far. Offense hasn't done much. Cutch is struggling mightily.

lol Cutch's next at bat, he made Quintana throw 10 pitches and then roped a single to left.

Gerrit Cole goes out and dominates tonight. 8 scoreless innings. 2 weak hits.

Daniel Hudson in to face the heart of the Cubs order in a tie game. Stand by.

Daniel Hudson is truly terrible. He is just so bad.

Avila hits it 112 feet and it rolls to the wall for a stand up triple and scores what will most likely be the winning run. Weirdest outfield alignment I have seen in a while.

Ok I'll say it. Free pass to Cubs comes around to score with two outs.

The Pirates have lost 13 of the last 16 games that Daniel Hudson has pitched in.

Is that Hudson's fault? Absolutely not. But he is bad and its a funny coincidence.

Bad offense plus Daniel Hudson is a bad combo.

It's weird. When you watch him, he doesn't look terrible. Decent slider, fastball that hit 98 mph last night. He struck out Kris Bryant and made him look bad last night. He just never gets away with a bad pitch. Ever. He pays for every mistake.

We could have used Nicasio last night.
