Sean Gallagher is a better pitcher than his 6.48 ERA would indicate. Here's to hoping he's a bit on the wild side today.

I was going to try something new today, watch the game on WGN but have it muted and listen to the Pirates radio broadcast online, but the radio feed is about a minute behind. They were reporting Bay stealing second on the wild pitch right after LaRoche's flyout was caught.

The Cubs must be really desparate if they need to get Gallagher to pitch for them.

Thanks for the reminder about WGN. I just watched Soriano jack one out. One of the many advantages of "working" from home.

Well that didn't take long. And he walks the next batter. Sigh. As is always when I actually get to see the Bucs on TV, it's going to be a long afternoon.

Ron Paul could have had Theirot, it was a greatly timed, however it looked like he was trying to throw the ball to McLouth instead of Sanchez. And we're now tied with the Rangers for most errors in the league again. To be fair, that was Paulino's first.

Mid-post update: Another HR. 3-0 in the 1st.

He couldn't have placed that on a tee any better for Soriano.
