Josh Bell sets the NL record for most home runs by a switch hitting rookie.

Jake Arrieta out with a hamstring issue. I feel SO bad. Maybe Maddon will take a foul ball off his noggin.

That play by Marte is why I can no longer tolerate him. He's a clown. Nearly drops a fly ball because of the sun...with his sunglasses sitting on top of his hat. Cutch was like whatever...

Seriously...the guy does nothing but clown around out there.

That's where we disagree PP. But, you are entitled to your opinion. That's why this is a message board.

I like Starling Marte. :)

I will gladly admit that I was wrong about him. Sending him to the bullpen right now would be definitely the wrong move. He is only 24, and still has lots of time to learn to be more efficient, get better at first pitch strikes, etc. If he does that, he could be our best starter. He is in the top 3 in the NL for average fastball velo. That's in a league that features guys like Scherzer, Syndergaard, etc.
