Glasnow and Keller pitched for the AAA and AA teams tonight. They combined for this line:

12 IP 11 H 0 R 1 BB 20 K.

Pretty good work.

Until they get to the Major Leagues and then they suck. Sound familiar???

That's what happened through the 20 years of losing stretch. Then the Pirates drafted someone like a Cutch who single handed changed the entire franchise around.

I do believe Pirate Nation has been sold a bill of goods starting with Nutting, then NH, then everyone else in the FO.

Well, I for one, am not buying anymore!

Glasnow's line: 6 IP 2 H 1R 2BB 9K. Good indeed. The only run was a solo homer by Jake Bauers, a prospect I would love to see the Bucs get, say straight up for Marte.

Keller, however, was on another planet tonight. He pitched a 1 hit shutout, and faced only 27 batters! He gave up 2 BB and had 4 Ks. Probably had under 100 pitches, as he had 81 through 8 innings. Lots of ground balls. I know he's supposed to pitch in the AFL this October to make up a few innings. I just wonder how long they will keep him in the minors next year.
