4 run lead against this Nats offense feels more like 2 runs.

The 2017 Pittsburgh Pirates go as far as Adam Frazier takes them. Since he's come back the Pirates are playing some baseball.

Josh Bell has hit a go ahead home run in two consecutive games but has then been removed from both of them.

I should be happy the Bucs are up 8-4, but all I can do is be pissed because THEY STILL CAN'T RUN THE BASES.

Frazier and Bell give you hope. Can you imagine if Marte, Polanco and Kang were playing and doing what we know they are capable of? Even with a less than stellar Cutch, we would be right smack in the middle of things.

Up 10-4 in the 9th...the only time it's acceptable to see Hudson on the mound.

See my post from earlier in this thread.
Yes ... I can imagine ...

Interesting---and NEEDED---series win.

Wonder what, if anything, this one means.

When you're in the middle of a losing streak, you think they're never going to win another game. Now, they win 4 out of 5, and you think, maybe they can still contend this year.

You just never know. Lots of baseball left.

I mean I don't think the offense is going to be this bad for the entire year. At the end of the day it'll come down to pitching IMO. Unfortunately they'll probably finish right around .500.
