He's in a little bit of a groove. That was an excellent inning.

1st inning: Tyler Glasnow looked like Jeff Locke
2nd inning: Tyler Glasnow looked like Clayton Kershaw

Excellent at bat for Frazier. Too bad it's with 2 outs.

Arrieta is leaving a lot of pitches up since the first. Bucs need to jump on those.

Big two-out hits by Frazier and Starling. Back in the game.

Some offense! Maybe Cutch can take advantage of these winds and tie this up.

Also nice to have Arrieta near 60 pitches already.

4 runs isn't gonna be enough to win this game.

This is truly unbelievable. Even a strike out turns into a baserunner.

Bad pitching + bad defense = Embarrassment.

And Jeff Locke is back and the Pirates defense continues to stink.

Giving up 6 runs is clearly not good, but Glasnow has looked way better than what his line will show.

I'd keep Glasnow in there as long as he can go. Let him throw 100 pitches if he can.

Only 4 were earned, and he pitched much better than the first outing. Still think he isn't ready, but we will see.

Glasnow will pitch 3 games out of every 15. The Pirates can afford to let him work out his problems in the major leagues. Especially since he isn't challenged at all in AAA. Especially since it's only April. If he were sent back to AAA, after a month he'd have a 1.20 ERA against guys with poor plate discipline. Then he would come up and start his MLB adjustment all over again. Pointless.
