With all of the talk on the board about the new broadcaster, it is now time to see what our former broadcaster is doing. Apparently, Waynesburg College has hired Lanny as a professor. There's "nooooo doubt about it" that he will bring a unique perspective to the classroom:

Is he allowed to smoke cigars in a college classroom?

As a fan of Pirates baseball, I wish I was back there to learn under him. I'd have to interview him for some great baseball stories.

If he has become a part time adjunct professor, his salary is probably minimal. The schools near me pay an embarassing amount to teach nights or in an adjunct position.

Chances are that he just wants to keep active because the income probably is not helpful in his retirement.

The American way is one of two choices:

(1) Hourly or
(2) Contingency.
