Just when I think McLouth might be hitting a wall, he belts another one out. Very, very impressive. Let's hope 2 or 3 runs is enough today. Snell needs a dominant outing.

What worries me is his HR numbers have gone up when his avg and hits have gone down...

Would have really liked for Snell to have "set the tone" with a 1-2-3 inning. Instead, he appears to be getting hammered pretty hard.

You never know. Ian could settle down. I looked into my crystal ball and I see that Chris Gomez is gonna have a multi-hit day. That should help..

I doubt he'll continue to slug 600, but from what I've seen, he may be transforming into a 300/370/500 hitter before our very eyes. A disciplined hitter with pop.

Fat Ronnie caught napping on Ryan's SB, no throw. Brown and Walk mentioned he appeared surprised by the attempt!

Key batter here.
Try to get to a situation where Pujols bats when leading off an inning as opposed to having garbage in the can or ducks on the pond.

I'm a little more worried that Snell can't strike anyone out anymore.

Dodged the proverbial Pujols bullet. Whew.

And when Snell does strike someone out, the catcher lets it go to the backstop and the batter reaches.

Seriously, if Doumit had done that, there would be 5 posts about it already...

Why is that worrisome?

Only to have the next two hitters in the following inning get hits. Damn.
Snell is hardly "on" today.

If we can win with this line up, we are truly on a role. Four players that are not considered our starters in the line up and it sounds like Snell is not on top of his game again

I'm just hoping its a slump, while putting up the homerun numbers, and him not trying to swing for the fences everytime he is up...Thats my worry

Duncan 2 run double, no throw to the plate because of an outfield miscommunication. Anyone watching from home, was there a play at the plate???

Oh well, at the least the bases aren't loaded for Pujols.
