Bullington, a 1999 Madison graduate, was picked up by the Blue Jays off waivers in the offseason and was considered in the running for Toronto's fifth-spot in the rotation. He pitched two shutout innings Sunday while earning the win in relief for the Jays, but was sent to the minor league camp on Monday.

The move in all likelihood means Bullington will begin the 2009 season in Triple-A, playing for the Blue Jays' Pacific Coast League affliate in Las Vegas. He spent most of the last four seasons in Triple-A, with the Indianapolis Indians and the Buffalo Bisons, both of the International League.

You are correct - and that is why Hawaii no longer has a minor league baseball team. Too freaking far for the major league team(s) to send players and wait for them to arrive when called up.

I thought Vegas was the farm team of the Dodgers. What happened?

There is always the outside chance that Huntington and Coonely can pick him up to provide "Quality Depth".

Because "Quality Depth", is what it's all about!

Considering that Huntington and Coonelly were the ones that let him go, I doubt that.

We've been losing for 17 years. More than any other franchise, in any other sport, ever.

The only thing that has gotten old, is the losing. Sell crazy someplace else.
