I probably would be, too, in his position.

In reality, most of these guys are good guys. Sometimes we have a hard time separating the player from the person. I really saw the reality of this when I was in the music business. The majority of the big names that I met were good people too. That said, there is always a knucklehead or two in the mix. It is just a microcosm of society.

If you have a kid, take them autograph hunting sometime. You'll learn pretty quickly who the good guys and who the bad guys are.

Of course there's no better guy in baseball than Tommy Lasorda.

A guy I work with collects autographs for himself. Doesn't sell them. He has some good stories.

Seems like a sincere honest young guy. I am sure that it will help him with people and especially younger fans. I read and found it interesting.

Maybe Im setting the bar too high here, but after a comment like that I sort of expected a second paragraph that would, in fact, feature one of those stories.

Did he then make them dress up in a Derek Jeter uniform?
