We haven't done one in awhile and I saw this somewhere.

Name the Pirate who struck out three batters in one inning on nine pitchers. (For a bonus, name the three players he struck out).

And part two, who did it to the Pirates? (Who were the three Pirates that struck out)

Good Luck!

That Randy Johnson game was my first series at PNC park. We beat Schilling the night before and then Johnson looked like he'd flirt with the strikeout record before we bombarded with about 5 straight hits in the 8th with a Kevin Young 3 run HR in there somewhere. (I think) We were the only team in Arizona's Championship season that hung back-to back losses on those two. Definitely the highlight of that season and possibly of PNC Park other than the comeback against the Astros with the Giles GS.

Well for PNC Park memories one that stand out with me is in the double headed against the Cubs on May 28th, 2004 when Rob Mackowiak hit a walk-off grand slam in the first game and a game-tying ninth inning home run in the second game, all on the same day that his son Garret was born.

Good job guys. Where did you get the answers? I saw this in an old baseball digest. I am figuring Google found this fast.

i knew Robinson and Johnson did it but i did have to wikipedia search who the strikeout victims were.
Hey i could have lied here and said my cousin gave me the answers.
I will be doing an interview with Peter Gammons tomorrow on ESPN about how i cheated on the board trivia question between the 2008-2009 season. But i'm being stalked by Kingston, my security guards caught him looking through my front gate yesterday and they said he appeared to be intoxicated :o
