Still trying to figure out the inter-league schedule since they went to the balanced league last year, with the Astros moving to the AL.

Our "mirror team" is the Tigers. We have played them four games each year even though we played the AL West and AL East respectively.

So next year, I guess we still play our four games against the Tigers. Are we going to play 3 or 4 additional games against Detroit next year?

during years where the natural rival is in the division that is scheduled in the rotation.

Home and home three game series against the natural rival.

Home and home two game series with two other opponents.

Single three game series (one home, one away) against the last two opponents.

Cool, thanks.

So we get the Tigers six times.

And if I recall two seasons ago, we will be @ KC and Minnesota, and home to the Tribe and the Sox.

Yeah I think it rotates. Like you said but i'm not sure. The next time the east comes calling, for example, yanks will come to the Burgh, ect.

I imagine it will just continue as it does. I wouldn't mind a four-gamer against Cleveland.

In 2012, the Bucs hosted both the Royals and Twins. Hopefully, they will travel to the Mini Apple and KC next year.

If so, this shall serve as my official notice to IA Pirate that there needs to be a UPPMB Heartland Team gathering at either Kaufman Stadium and/or Target Field next Summer. I'm happy to take the lead. All UPPMB members would be welcome.

I was at the K last night. It wasn't a bad stadium/experience (the fans were great!), but it wasn't what I was used to (Petco, PNC, SAFECO).

Some of you old timers might enjoy the 'nostalgic' feel since the stadium is a little older and the fan intensity does rival that of Pittsburgh though.

I would still imagine that Target with it's newer digs might be a better overall experience... unless you factor in city food. Then you have to go to KC for some BBQ! :D

As a segment of our annual summer baseball trip, my friends and I were at Kaufman in Late June. Fans were great. Stadium is not in the city, so traffic is an issue. It is an older stadium, but Royals have done a great job with renovations. The new "Outfield Experience" is on par with more modern facilities. Royals Hall of Fame attraction is worth your time. We were very pleasantly surprised with the experience. We would like a return visit.

Wow, that is interesting. Kansas City is actually about 100 miles closer to us in Houston than St.Louis. It's actually pretty much a north/south straight line, as oppose to having to go east to Memphis and then north to the Gateway City.

Hmmm. One day's drive. Maybe the Corsairs will join the Heartland.

No weekend games against the Twins, White Sox or Royals. F__k.
Looks like the Heartland Chapter of the UPPMB will have to use a vacation day.
How about Monday, July 20th in Kansas City?
