Does Gaby have good career numbers against Gallardo or something? I mean, to warrant the start over Pedro or Davis.

No Ike Davis.
Hmmmmmm. Gaby Sanchez history of success with Gallardo or is something else at play?

Clint Hurdle should not be making lineup decisions based on 37 plate appearances...

I dunno. This team is floundering. Anything of a hot hand must be utilized in this one.

I thought they talked about this last year and they actually based these things off of data about Gallardo and then several other pitchers with similar arm slots. Thought being that for whatever reason, Sanchez (or whoever) sees the ball well against a particular sort of pitcher mechanic.

Gaby's been starting pretty much every game against him since last year at minimum.

This is what I was guessing. But the numbers posted by others likely support the decision as well.

Harrison and others coming up big so far. Making Gallardo work. Kind of guessed wrong on Snider so far. Another base running blunder.

Tack on more.

Jeff, buddy, walks with a for run lead could only lead to bad stuff.

Has anybody ever seen a ball hit farther the other way than Cutch's 438 foot shot? I've been watching baseball for a long time, but I can't remember one like that.

I've never seen an opposite field shot hit that far in game action.

I don't get it. You have a four run lead.

You almost feel this game turning. Feel it? With every issued walk.
