I'll be there tonight. Let's hope the team shows up with me.

I'm a teensy bit worried about that infield given that Morton's on the mound. Shortstop is Harrison's worst position, Pedro's awful at third base, Walker is terrible at second base (by all defensive metrics), and Davis is below average at first. Yikes. This could be a recipe for disaster, folks...

You would have to think that Pedro sees approximately 0 fastballs tonight, considering Morton is behind him.

Interesting line-up. Very interesting.
And, to borrow from Forrest Gump, that's all I got to say about that.

Good, guess Pedro doesn't need to guess what he's being thrown. Get it?

Really, Walker is terrible on defense? He's only made 3 errors all year. He certainly doesn't look terrible when I'm watching the games.

Oh, he makes all the routine plays. He's solid in that way. He just has very limited range.

I'll take the routine play plus Walkers offense.

Now if only Chico could've made one more routine play.

Pedro can field 3rd this year, he just cant throw it 1st. Baseball Reference had listed all of Pedro's errors but one this year were throwing related. Before he went to the bench, he was leading the league in assists and double plays turned as a 3rd baseman.

But his range is still awful, at -13.0 UZR and -18.3 UZR/150.

So he's not getting to a lot of balls in his area.

Charlie better thank his defense, otherwise it would be 10-0. I'm just so done with Morton.

Look, Morton isn't Cy Young but he is perfectly fine in his role as a #3 starter. A 3.62 ERA (FIP of 3.77), WHIP of around 1.2, only 9 HR allowed in 150 innings.

Members keep defending Charlie. Above is a quote by a long time member.
It was said today Charlie hasn't won a game in two months.

I must be watching a different game...I won't say anything...who knows...Charlie and the Bucs might come back and win this game...might... :?

Oh, by the way, I was raked over the coals again criticizing Charlie like I've been raked over the coals criticizing Gaby and Davis...

Who knows?...ya know?

Okie dokie, 5-nil. Got a few things to do in the garage. Can't have starts like this in the middle of a pennant chase.
