Frieri's stuff looked good to me tonight. He has good movement and velocity on his fastball, he just has no idea where it's going. Yet another reason why hitting McCutchen in retaliation tonight was stupid. It's pretty clear Frieri has no command. I'm not even sure he's capable of hitting somebody on purpose right now.

Funny that in the Giants series they would score a bunch of runs in the first two innings, and now they only score in the last two.

Today will be interesting, to be sure. Warnings will be issued from the outset. Problem is, then the starters will be afraid to pitch inside for fear one gets away early in the game. Good thing Locke or Morton aren't pitching. They live inside. I hope Frankie has his command...

Oh, and what say you all on Cutch's "catch" last night? I thought it was a trap. It caught grass and leather simultaneously, but it can't touch grass at all, I thought.

I think Pedro needs a stint in aaa to get his head straight. It's either that or trade him?

You really think he'll clear waivers? The minors are not an option.

That one will leave a nice bruise. Hope this is over with.

Hope it's not, but I do hope that they don't get another shot at Cutch after the score gets evened.

Jon van Benschoten

Really? Care to show me his track record of major league success? Because I can show your Frieri's.

Bad comparison.

I wasn't comparing anyone. Parrot said ANYBODY would be better, I was CLEARLY giving him someone who is not.

WALKS KILL US!!!! A four pitch walk to the number 8 hitter leads to a run.
