J-Hay continues to surprise. His homer gives the Bucs a 1-0 lead.

It's amazing. It's the same thing every time...extra crow hops and extra glove pats. Apparently his head is so messed up he can't not do those things...

Ike bailed Pedro out on his worm-burner a couple innings ago, but the latest one was way over his head. Pedro needs to give 1st a try as that is a need.

I think ZM mentioned that they want Pedro to have urgency on every throw. When he takes his time, that is when he usually throws it away. But as mentioned above, it seems he can't even do that which means he is really screwed up mentally. Hurdle and the Pirates have a major problem here.

Three bad throws now in the game. Pedro pulled. He is killing the Bucs in the field and no amount of "higher BB and lower K's" is going to change that.

I think he might be done as a 3b. He can't make the throws anymore.

ZM

Harrison is the internal option, but it would be nice to find a veteran third baseman on waivers. There are really no lefties out there. Prado would have been an option. Possibly Casey Magehee. I don't know. Anything is better than Morel.

I think Pedro needs a stint in aaa to get his head straight. It's either that or trade him?

So the Pirates score two runs on Martin's hit ball that went five feet away from home plate. That would drive me nuts if I am a D-back fan. Good for the Bucs though.

Even Morel gets a hit. Pirates have score 7 runs in the 8th the last two games and 5 last night in the 9th. Better late than never.
