I've been engaged in trial over the past week. Yesterday, we put Gary Skoog on the stand as our economist expert on the issue of alleged future diminished income (or, as we contend, the lack thereof).

Skoog is a prof at DePaul but runs a business called Legal Econometrics. He was also Scott Boras' SABR expert for contract negotiations and arbitration hearings.

Smart guy but no shortage of self-confidence.

Would have loved to chat ball with him but didn't get the chance.
