Why is morel up? Harrison can handle third when Alvarez isn't playing. What about Tabata? He's a better bench bat against both handed pitchers. Martinez there for utility depth.

I don't think Alvarez is 100% and they've been playing Harrison more in the OF with Marte out.

If Snider keeps this up, though....

McCutchen in a big slump. Not too worried about it, but its been awhile since his last hit.

Liriano looks really good tonight. 9 strikeouts through 6 innings. Bucs up 3-1.

Watched batting practice before yesterday's game. Snider was really smacking the ball. Then again, so was Davis, so there's that….

Well Charlie sure was the victim of some bad luck in that first inning, with 3 weakly hit singles. And he walked 2 to make things worse.

Pedro might have turned 2 of those hits into outs. Or he may have thrown the ball into the bleachers.

It's beginning to become clear to me: Pedro Alvarez has exchanged bodies with Josh Harrison.

He's had bases loaded with 1 out or less in 2 of his 3 innings. You're playing with fire if you're not at least using the short leash right now.

I think you'll play with more fire if you are using Frieri by the 6th.

And who switched with lunchbox?

Wouldn't it be something if both of these guys became 'late bloomers'???
