Wow.

* Yadier Molina out 2-3 months with torn thumb ligaments.

* Brandon Phillips out "for a while" with a thumb injury.

* Joey Votto out indefinitely with a hamstring injury.

* Ryan Braun is day-to-day with a troublesome back.

Add in the Cardinals' pitching injuries and you have three purportedly surging NL Central teams in some serious injury trouble. Let's all hope the Pirates can stay healthy with their position players and get Liriano and Cole back soon.

Billy Hamilton is also struggling with hamstring tightness and may not be available to play for a few days.

That means the Pirates may play a Reds team without Votto, Phillips, and Hamilton. Gotta take advantage of that.

Looks like Phillips has the same problem as Molina. Damn.

Yeah, but the Pirates cleanup hitter is missing.

Pedro needs to be moved back up.

I do not enjoy it when other players get hurt, but I will surely be rooting for the Pirates to gain some ground due to the unfortunate circumstances.
