Shitty loss. Totally on the offense. No clutch hits.

extremely deflating loss. Morton pitches a gem, but offense strands too many baserunners. I knew it would be tough to beat wainwright, but we had 8 hits off of him. Charlie actually out pitched him. Bullpen blows it. Actually I blame the offense more than anything. And the ump was awful. Cutch calls timeout, and he still calls it a strike? The martin play? Bucs to need to right the ship tomorrow night.

Sucks to end it that way against a team I have grown to hate.

But look at the bright side. Morton outpitched Wainwright, and it was not close.

The Cardinals are getting very old. Holliday, Wainwright, Molina, Peralta are past their primes, Craig is not very good and on the downside of his tenure, Jay is not young.

Win the next 3. The Cardinals just are not very impressive this season.

Agreed. THis team does not scare me this year. Even Wainwright looked very human last night.

This was one of those games that happened to go the other way. Considering the quality of the opposing pitching, we hit quite a few balls hard. We just didn't manage to score any runs.

I thought the home plate ump did a good job, even on the Martin HBP call. Martin clearly could have gotten out of the way, but left his padded arm out there to take the hit.

It's like the opposite of that first DBacks win.

Jesus, come in off the ledge. Both pitchers pitched great and their's is one of the best in the game. Hey, I'd rather Wainwright cause us to leave 9 on base rather than some of the other no names who have thrown the game of their lives against the Bucs.

Lose 54. Move on. I'm sure Hurdle made that point to them after the game.

Let's Go Bucs.

Hey cardinals are still a great team. They are always there. You can never underestimate them.
