All-Star? The guy's pitching his guts out and has a ridiculous scoreless streak going. No-name relievers have been picked before..thoughts?

If the All Star Game were today, he would have to be a shoe-in. You figure Melancon made it last year as a non-closer, so the precedent says it can happen.

I think having Clint Hurdle on the NL coaching staff will increase his chances of making the team, even though he definitely deserves to make it regardless.

Veal had TJS and was picked up by the White Sox ... he pitched a couple innings in April this year and was DFA'd.

Meek pitched against the Pirates earlier this year with the Orioles. He is one of many ex-Pirates that were signed by Baltimore once John Russell joined Buck Showlater's staff ... (Meek, McLouth, Pearce, Snyder, Navarro).
