!@#$

This isn't over.

Lock down, bullpen.

Just get on, Barmes.

Pinch hit Tabata or Gaby.

Marte redemption. Walker's been patient at the plate.

Get to the MVP.

Hoist the *bleeping* colors!

Would be nice if it was a one-run game right now...

And there's your shift. If the Cards don't have the shift on Pedro's hit is a sure double and its two runs.

Late to the argument, but not I'm sure why anyone would want to keep Cole in at that point. At the time, we had just two hits and one walk in 6 innings, to the point of which Wainwright had thrown only 70 some pitches. It's not like we were ahead and Cole was protecting a lead. We were down 2-0. And Barmes had gotten on base.

Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Of course, unless Hurdle was being channeled by Animal, putting someone other than Jones would have seemed like a no-brainer as well.

And the Pirates knock in a run on three in-field singles. Chuck Tanner would be proud.

Board member update...

No. 9 had an issue in a pressure packed moment of the game and shattered the screen on his phone.

Carry on.

Pittsburgh native or not, am I the only one that feels we should be looking for another everyday 2nd baseman? Walker can fill Harrison's role.

A Walker/Mercer platoon would be good. Then we can hopefully find an everyday SS.

Figures an umpire would seal our fate. We deserve better.

You've got to be shitting me...horrible call. Even Adams was shocked to see the out call.

I need to see it again. He may have been out. Really bad baserunning by Mercer.

The Pirates were up 2 going into the 9th back in '92. They are down 2 right now. They've slayed many demons already this year...one more?

I like how Dick Stockton blamed the dirt for the umpire missing the call.
