I can't sleep either BBF. I've gotten up very early this morning. I'm making bassoon reeds! :D

I really feel Cole is going to pitch a good solid game tonight. The big thing that concerns me is the Bucco offense (again!). Can they come through???

Here's to hoping for a great Pirate win! Even if they lose, I'm sure it will be a great game. I'm VERY proud of our Pirates and what they've accomplished this season!!! It's been a great ride and it's not over yet!!!!

GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling a little less optimistic, mostly because he pitched pretty well last time around, and consistency is typically not a rookie's strongest suit.

But, this is great. It's win or go home baseball. If it were up to me, I'd dispense with best-of series and have everything single elimination. But, if you're a baseball fan, you'd probably disagree, since long playoffs are one of the sport's distinctives. Be that as it may, there is only one team that gets a tomorrow, and that's just the way I like it.

I slept well last night as opposed to the way I slept for the wild card game which wasn't much at all. Basically it comes down to will the bats fair well against Wainwright. Will Wainwright have his CY young stuff? How will Cole react in a game that every young pitcher dreams of? He has the stuff, will he be able to locate it? Is his arm tiring? He's logging a lot of innings in his rookie season.

We needed AJ, that veteran on the mound, but he just gets rocked at Busch.

Time to fight bucs, the odds are against you guys. Go get it.

just keep it close....use Burnett if it looks like nasty king cole does not have it tonight, but i think nasty king cole will be sharp tonight. All it takes is one mistake by wainright, maybe a walk and bomb, or a walk, loop and bomb...of course it also takes one mistake by cole. After seeing game one last week, I would have signed up for a game 5.....The players will be focused and ready to go, it will be fun, and again, for one night, the pirates will be the focus of baseball.

Curiously composed.

Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Just want to see a good ballgame.
