Kudos to Charlie. A lot of people didn't want him to pitch and he was outstanding. One mistake.

The bats? Not so much.

Well-deserved?
What an extraordinary thing to say. I'll put it down to English not being your first language.

I was sitting looking at gameday with my kid.. I told her that only Pedro could break up the no-hitter.. I asked the
cosmos for a double.. prayer was answered.

Then Mc Cutcheon comes up.. chance to be the hero. I didn't have the same faith in him. He was MVP but he didn't put up MVP numbers. He will hit .350 and win a batting title but this isn't our year. No way we'll beat Wainwright. -__-

Possibly Wainwright matching AJ with Cole on standby. Either way what a huge mismatch against Wainwright. He may dominate the bucs again. What a fun season. Smile everyone. This is what October is all about.

Yep...I was nervous about him pitching, but he was great. Holiday hit a pretty decent pitch.

Well if you would have told me we'd give up 3 hits and lose...brutal stuff but it's over. Long 48 hours coming up though.

No reason to be so pessimistic. The odds are against us but we certainly have a chance.

I must admit i did not have any confidence in game 4 with charlie, but he battled and did way better then i expected.. Offense was nowhere to be seen, outside pedro's blast.. well save the best for last..

If Hurdle has some guts, he put in Cole over AJ and play it straight to the cards throats.. IF there is 1
player who will be pumped, ready to destroy, it will be Gerrit!!

All expectations go out to a cards win, well let them show they are the team to beat...

And already this has been an amazing season and if we go out, i feel proud that it will be a game 5 and against a team that has showed up in almost every post season the last years..

but somehow everything tells me, this ride aint over..

LETS GO BUCS

Great pitching from both sides. Wacha was better. It happens. Wacha nearly no hit the bucs. When he's mowing everyone down that means his stuff is that good. Hopefully Wainwrights isn't. Kudos to Charlie. He battled against a team that's had his number over the last few seasons and gave his team a chance.

Who said this would be easy? Let's watch our boys do it the hard way. Don't lose faith.

I do not understand folks dismissing Wacha as some kind of rookie we should be pounding. He is every bit, almost, as good as Cole. Best changeup I've seen in a long time. That coming from a 6' 6" frame and a mid-90's fastball. He is the perfect matchup to the Bucs with their off speed (lack of) hitting and his change up.
