Something light-hearted I noticed from the video of Alvarez's go-ahead single in tonight's game.

Look closely at :10 (top right of screen) and :46 ( top middle right-ish) from the video. Pretty sure that is Frank Coonelly in the suit right above the Pirates dugout jumping up and down going nuts when Harrison crosses the plate. http://wapc.mlb.com/play/?content_id=31 ... d=vtp_nlds

I really hope that is him. He deserves to get that pumped with this team he has assembled.

You mean this guy in the suit and yellow tie?
Oh yeah - that is Frank!

...sorry it is an anti-FSU thing. They are Garnet & Gold and I refuse to use that word. :-)

My buddy whose father works for Root Sports and has tickets right near there said he thought Michael Keaton was sitting right behind Frank (guy in khaki shorts and Buccos shirt behind him) and saw them exchange a few high 5's.........

Gold is gold and yellow is yellow IMHO! The Pittsburgh Penguins actually have the closest color scheme to a true Black and Gold.

The Steelers and Pirates are closer to a Black and Yellow color scheme than to a Black and Gold color scheme. Although, I'm fine with ALL the Pittsburgh sports teams having a "Black and Gold" identity!

Anyways, Black and Gold sounds much better to me than Black and Yellow! :D

I think it's great. The passion and enthusiasm for our team is overwhelming. I got very emotional thinking about it. Just watching crowd is pure enjoyment. Coonelly should act like a little kid who just got a new bike for Christmas. We all should.

Hey LGM - nice job sharing this, just saw that PiratesProspects relayed your post on Facebook. I am glad that the masses can now witness my lucky find of Coonelly celebrating.

[thumbs up] - thanks for finding the video and posting.
BTW - I sent the image to Frank and he replied back to me "Thanks Mike. I got a little excited."

Nice...
