Is the Pitching Coach for Point Park University...

Quote:
"Chris is a great addition to the Point Park baseball staff, and he will be a great asset to the program," said Liberi, who is in his sixth season as Pioneers coach. "His expertise will immediately improve our pitching staff, and he will help take our program to the next level."

Dan, thanks for volunteering this. I remember this fella with great fondness, as well as his one magical season, if you can call it that. But from where we currently sit, a 3.50 era in 150 innings is pretty darn good. I had hopes for this kid, choosing to ignore what my eyes told me. Anyway, I wish him all the luck and I think those kids will be well served. Frankly, it surprises me that more guys like Peters dont find work in college baseball, which I love to watch. Its not sexy, like college football or basketball (because of the minor league system), but plenty of great players have come out of the college ranks and it seems like a fine career path for a former major leaguer like Chris.

What day job? I thought FSN Pittsburgh gave him that spot on the post game show 2 years ago because he was sleeping out front of the big window looking out into the river...

He was one of the worst commentators ever!!!
