Man, I just watched this about 8 times and I am still laughing my ass off. Best thing though, is the reaction of the catcher. If you did not watch it closely, watch again!

Yeah, I saw that.

Oh, and I believe I may have heard you as well, Animal.

Were you chanting, "Cuuuuuueeeetooooo" at the top of your lungs?? :D

20 years ... wow, I am exhausted. I have to get to bed. Need to get up tomorrow at 6:15 and get to court.

Oh, @#$% it. Maybe the judge is a Pirates fan? :D

The atmosphere there reminded me of a Steelers game. I thought for sure the crowd was gonna start chanting 'Here We Go Steelers, Here We Go'. I'm not sure if I liked that or not. The place was electric and a great win.

What a moment. Like Morneau said in the Stark article, it was like something out of a movie. And it was reminiscent of a football game too.

We just steamrolled that team out of the way and sent them on vacation.

I think you have that backwards.. NOW, they are chanting "LET'S GO BUCS!" at the Steelers games!

It shocked me that Hanigan started the game over Mesoraco. I guess Hanigan is typically Cueto's battery partner, but Meseraco is supposed to be the better defensive catcher and has extreme splits, posting an .874 OPS against LHP on a team who's top fo the order can't hit lefties. Meanwhile Hanigan (who was quietly a very solid back-up catcher for them for years) just completely dropped off at age 33 this year. McKenry or Buck would have been an improvement.

It might not be too early to say they made the wrong decision keeping Meseraco and including Grandal in the Latos deal. Latos worked out well for them, but Meseraco has been a huge disappointment.

Grandal has been pretty bad off the steroids this season.

SSS. Between the suspension and injury he only had 88 ABs.

The stadium sounded more like a soccer game than any baseball game I've ever attended. Of course, I haven't been to any postseason baseball live. But still, the constant chant was something we don't see a lot of.

One of the most exhilirating baseball experiences in my short life.

The odds of all that coming together as it did are astronomical.

It proves why sports is the best form of entertainment.

I was screaming my lungs out, fellas. Unreal.

I've been to a Super Bowl, multiple NFL playoff games, NHL Game 7s, and Duke-Carolina basketball games... and last night topped them all. The best crowd I've ever been a part of. What a game... what a team... and what a city.

FANCH, one of us should make a trip across the Channel (manche) so that we can cheer our Buccs on together.

lots of reds fans were whining about it in the reds game day thread (redzone.com), calling bucs fans classless and hooligans. lots of other fans around the league, that left comments at game article sights, and at other mlb boards, were cheering the chanting, they thought it was awesome. btw, if you have some time to kill, check out the game day thread at redzone.com, some very entertaining reading!
